A Bibliometric Analysis of Articles on Realistic Mathematics Education Published Between 2000-2021

Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) is one of the topics that was introduced about fifty years ago and has been studied continuously since then. The purpose this study to bibliometrically analyze articles on subject ofRME. Using keyword “realistic mathematics education,” 1056 were found related area RME, which scanned in Scopus database “Social Science” publication type between 2000-2021. Retrieved analyzed through web interface page directed by bibliometrix, R-Studio program package.With analysis made, following sub-titles found: number produced years, authors journals published most area, cited a global basis, annual average citations, productivity over time, citation burst values authors, countries responsible collaboration tendencies these terms articles, word cloud, tree map, network joint journals. results revealed researchers’ interest increased after 2012, RME mostly three major journals, including Journal Education, Mathematical Behavior Educational Studies Mathematics. In addition, it determined with RMEwere Zulkardi Z., Suparman S. R. I. Putri, USA, Indonesia Netherlands. As result relevant results, inferences made for RME.
